A family business
Rowland Pecan was built in 1994 by Autry Rowland so his daughter, Gail, would have something of her own to run. Her son Bubba grew up working in the plant. In his thirties he started growing his own pecans and cleaning them here.
It wasn't long before we opened our doors to clean pecans for the public too, and we still do. Today Gail and Bubba run it together, with Bubba's son Ellis working alongside them, making it four generations of family on Hwy 280.
